This recent addition to the fleet is a 1997 International known as Rescue #1. This unit is located at Fire Station #1 at 200 South Richardson and responds to calls in Station 1's district for medical emergencies. It also responds to vehicle accidents with injuries all over the city and into Chaves County. Rescue #1 responds to all structure fires in the city as a support unit for equipment and personnel.
